Born and raised in New Zealand, Duncan came to America in 1980 and for a long time made it his home, however his goal was always to return to his native New Zealand where his heart was. In 2014 Duncan and his wife Helen made that wish come true.

After having worked with Butch and Lu Thomas, Duncan set up a partnership with Australian Olympic rider Richard Sands.    After parting ways with Richard, Duncan helped set up the very successful business 'Windfall Farms Inc'.

The next few years brought Duncan and his pupils  win after win in the Hunter, Jumper and Equitation rings.

Duncan, is the ultimate competitor in every ring. Not ever one to brag or boast, he simply goes about his job, lets his riding & teaching do the talking and he gets it done.

Duncan probably still holds the record for most horses ridden in any single day of a horse show!  His enthusiasm, patience and hard work is contagious and all of 'his riders' soon become just as much a competitor as he is.

Now in NZ, Duncan and Helen are in great demand, holding regular training clinics as well as private training all over the North and South Island.

Private and group lessons available, as well as help at shows, stable management, horse purchases and sales.

Duncan not only talks the talk but walks the walk.
