2015 has been a great year for Outwoods Farm LTD

Brian won the prestigious Thoroughbred Floats GP at the Equidays show. Then we went onto the first World Cup of the season where he was 2nd. Masterton Brian won for the second year in a furiously fast jump off. Mystery Creek saw Brian and Helen 3rd in this World Cup, followed by another GP win at Wellington. Next stop Fielding where he was again 2nd in the World Cup in the indoor venue there. Taupo was our last show of 2015 where YET AGAIN the pair were 2nd in an incredibly close jump off for the World Cup there.

Binverter has been getting regular ribbons with Duncan, he'll be off to pastures new in January after a very good season so far. NZ Powerfull and Duncan won a few good classes before he left to Australia to the Senna barn.

New arrival Cassius GNZ started off well at his first show of the year in Taupo with double clears in all of his classes for Duncan. Doris aka Petit Croix has amazed us so far. Just a few months under saddle, this Lansing daughter is proving to be a bit of a star, numerous clean rounds, moving up a couple of divisions since she started out.

As always most of the horses ridden at Outwoods Farm by Helen and Duncan are for sale. Contact us for details.

Foxton 2015

Certainly one of our favourite shows and one of Brian's.

He excelled again winning the Canterbury Equestrian/Equissage Grand Prix for the second year running. What a trier he is.

Binverter was super with new jockey Duncan. An unlucky jump off rail in both the 1.20 and the 1.20 Championships left them out of the ribbons.

Doris (AKA Petit Croix GNZ) was a little star for her second ever time away from home. This 4/5yr old took it all in her stride, having just one rail the whole weekend. She'll be getting a well deserved break now after only being under saddle for a couple of months, we feel she's done enough for now.

NZ Powerfull is off to his new home in Australia, we wish all involved the best of luck with this son of Powerfee.

First show of the year for us went great.

Pukahu was once again our first outing. Super footing, friendly organisers, good courses makes this show one of our favourites. Carnutelabryere, still getting show fit after his winter break was a credible 5th in the GP.

Duncan and NZ Powerfull (for sale) won his 1.30 by a very convincing margin, see video below,  Binverter (another sales horse) won their only class of the show in great style.

Petit Croix GNZ went to her first horse show, and jumped a double clear in the .80. We have high hopes for this ultra intelligent Lansing daughter.

Next stop the Rotorua show in Taupo, weather permitting.
